    (July 31, 1941- )
Born in Queanbeyan, New South Wales, Australia
    Birth name was Heather Blundell
Played squash, racquetball and field hockey
In squash, won 16 consecutive British Opens (1962-77)
Won the inaugural World Open (1979)
Named All-Australian in field hockey (1967,1971)
Won the American Amateur Racquetball Championship once (1979) and American Professional Racquetball Championship three times (1980-81,1984)
Inducted into the USA Racquetball Hall of Fame (1997) and Women's International Squash Players Association Hall of Fame (1999)
Made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (1969) and Order of Australia (1979)
Sports Illustrated described her as 'pigeon-toed and bowlegged.'
She said she had to deliberately give away a point each match to avoid 9-0 9-0 9-0 blow-outs.
She was bitter over not getting many endorsement deals in Australia.
She dominated her sport, but it's a sport that, to be blunt, no one cares about.
She lost only two matches during her entire squash career and had a winning streak that lasted 20 years, from 1962 until her retirement in 1981.
The Times of London noted, 'It is doubtful that anyone has dominated a sport to such an extent.'
She reached the semifinals of her first racquetball tournament despite never having played the game before and learning the rules during the event.
She persued a second career in racquetball because, 'There was nothing left for me to accomplish in squash except to do it over again.'
Another racquetball player said, 'You have to play perfectly to beat her... You can't psych her out or wear her down.'
