On November 22, 1987, video hijackers managed to override the Chicago PBS station's broadcast of 'Dr. Who' for 90 seconds and replaced it with a signal beamed from their secret location. What Chicagoans were treated to was someone wearing a Max Headroom mask, dropping his pants and getting spanked by an accomplice while the camera panned wildly about. The perpetrators were never caught.
