They tend to get overshadowed by Rollins' other band.
The name of the band is very generic.
Rollins was the only constant member.
Rollins didn't really sing as much as he just shouted over music.
The music video for 'Liar' featured Rollins in red body paint dancing like a maniac and shouting into the camera.
Some of their lyrics were pretty cheesy (ex. I wanna disconnect myself/Pull my brain stem out and unplug myself).
A lot of their songs lyrics were just Rollins giving personal advice to the listener.
A lot of Rollins' earlier fans felt alienated when the band started having mainstream hits.
Their songs were highly introspective and motivational.
Their lyrics encouraged people to live their lives, stop feeling sorry for themselves and rise above adversity.
They had a unique sound that combined elements of punk, metal, jazz, blues and funk.
They ranked #47 on VH1's '100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.'
They were known for their relentless touring and putting on energetic live shows.
Their album cover for 'Nice' was of a model wearing nothing but dollar bills.
They teamed up with members of Black Flag to record a benefit album for the West Memphis Three.
They are considered pioneers of alternative metal.
