Why he might be annoying:

Because of his name, he was sometimes confused with Richard Moll, who portrayed Bull on ‘Night Court.'
Like many ‘Little House on the Prairie' actors, he guest-starred on Michael Landon's sappy ‘Highway to Heaven' series.
One critic said: ‘His head is shaped like a light bulb.'
Another wrote of him and his TV wife, Katherine MacGregor: ‘Can you imagine [them] getting it on? Oh, the humanity!'

Why he might not be annoying:

He had a long career doing character parts on TV shows.
He acted in the award-winning HBO original movie ‘Normal.'
With Katherine MacGregor and Alison Arngrim, he brought welcome comic relief to the often tragic ‘Little House on the Prairie.'
His Nels Oleson character was a fan favorite.
