Why he might be annoying
He portrayed a high school teenager while he was in his mid twenties.
He dropped out of college a year before graduation.
Although he prefers to be called Don, he will always be Donny.
When Ron Howard quit 'Happy Days,' he did too (1980).
Despite quitting 'Happy Days' (1980), it continued on for another four years.
Although he quit 'Happy Days' to advance his career, it did just the opposite.
Why he might not be annoying
As a child, his favorite movie was 'The Jolson Story.' He watched it 50 times and knew it by heart.
He graduated Brooklyn's Erasmus Hall High School.
He was almost turned down for the part of Ralph Malph because he was a red head. They already cast Ron Howard who was a red head.
Originally, Ralph Malph was to be a dumb jock, but because of his comedic timing, the role was changed to class clown.
He keeps in touch with the former cast of 'Happy Days.'
He did return for the 'Happy Days' series finale in 1984.
