    Best known for portraying Harry Bentley on The Jeffersons
    Portrayed the Number Painter on Sesame Street
    Appeared in 'The Goodbye Girl,' 'This is Spinal Tap,' and 'A Mighty Wind'
    Because of his role on 'The Jeffersons,' many people assumed that he was actually British.
    He sounded British even when he is not in-character as Bentley.
    He left 'The Jeffersons' in 1981, then returned two years later.
    He suffered from a rare bone disease called 'acromegaly,' which resulted in his over sized nose and jaw.
    He was able to portray the role of an Englishman effectively.
    He and other 'Jeffersons' cast members reprised their roles for an on-stage version of the show.
    He made cameos in a few Christopher Guest mockumentaries.
    He ran his own vineyard.
