    Films include 'Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story,' 'Just Married,' 'Training Day,' 'Flubber,' 'Mad City,' 'The Chamber,' 'Dead Man Walking,' 'Sudden Death,' 'The Ref,' 'Cool Runnings,' 'Falling Down,' 'Born On The Fourth Of July' and 'Year Of The Dragon'
    He's mostly a supporting character actor who had few leading roles.
    He did a lot of experimental and avante garde theater in the late 60s and early 70s.
    He referred to 'Walk Hard' as 'an absurdest film.'
    Like many New York actors, some of his earliest television appearances were on soap operas.
    He graduated Brown University with a philosophy degree, then went to Yale Drama School.
    He played on Brown University's football team.
    He was Independent Spirit Award nominated for his work in 'Steel City' (2007).
    He acted in dozens of Broadway and off-Broadway productions, and is also a playwright.
    He moonlighted as a plumber in order to make ends meet while he tried to establish his acting career.
