Best known as Tangina Barrons in the 'Poltergeist' series
Acted in 'Under the Rainbow (1981),' 'Poltergeist (1982),' 'Sixteen Candles (1984),' 'Poltergeist II: The Other Side (1986),' 'Anguish (1987),' 'Poltergeist III (1988),' 'Teen Witch (1989)' and 'Picket Fences (1992-1993)'

Why she might be annoying:

She was, um, diminutive, standing only 4'3.
Her voice sounded like she's been inhaling helium.
In the 'Poltergeist' series, she affected a horrendous fake Southern accent.
She did embarrassing ISP commercials using her 'Poltergeist' persona.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was known as a nurturing 'mother hen' on the set.
One critic praised the 'calmness against chaos' he sees in her horror work.
Like all 'little' actors, she had trouble finding roles, especially serious ones.
She was living proof that the so-called 'Poltergeist' curse is a myth.
Before becoming a performer, she worked in a blood bank.
In her spare time, she raised money to help blind children.
