The Resume

    (February 3, 1913-January 27, 1992)
    Born in Munich, Germany
Wife of Nazi leader Baldur von Schirach
Daughter of Nazi photographer Heinrich Hoffman
Author of 'Der Preis der Herrlichkeit' ('The Price of Glory,' 1956) and 'Frauen um Hitler: Nach Materialien ('Women around Hitler,' 1982)
Famously challenged Hitler over his persecution of the Jews

Why she might be annoying:

Her husband was the leader of the Hitler Youth.
Her father was Hitler's personal photographer who sold busts in his likeness.
She briefly dated Hitler - over twenty years her senior - after the suicide of Geli Raubal.
She was romantically involved with Peter Jacob - Leni Riefenstahl's ex-husband.
Her husband was widely rumored to have been a closeted gay man.
She publicly supported his policies during the war but divorced Baldur Von Schirach while he was serving out his twenty-year prison sentence for war crimes.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was indoctrinated into Nazi ideology and had known Hitler since she was nine.
During a visit to the Netherlands in 1943, she accidentally witnessed Jews being violently forced onto cattle cars during a deportation to a concentration camp.
The next time she and her husband met with Hitler, she made it known what she had seen and that it troubled her deeply. Hitler replied that she was ‘sentimental.’
She said: ‘Then there was a terrible row. He stood up, I stood up, I said, Herr Hitler, you ought not to be doing that. I thought I could allow myself to say so because I had known him for so long.’
Hitler, infuriated, answered: ‘Every day 10,000 of my best soldiers die on the battlefield, while the others carry on living in the camps. That means the biological balance in Europe is not right anymore.’ The two were never invited again.
She is the only person known to have challenged Hitler about the Nazi Final Solution, and the argument was verified by Hitler’s personal secretary (Traudl Junge) as having taken place.
