Terrorist

The Resume

    (October 21, 1986-April 19, 2013)
Born in Dagestan ASSR, Russian ASSR, Soviet Union
One of two brothers responsible for bombings during the 2013 Boston Marathon that killed three people and injured 185 others (April 15, 2013)
Shot and killed campus police officer at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (April 18, 2013)

Why he might be annoying:

His name is difficult to spell and pronounce.
    He dropped out of college.
In a 2010 photo essay of him in the magazine 'The Comment,' he said that although he'd rather compete in boxing for the United States than for Russia, he did not understand Americans.
A fellow boxer said that though Tsarnaev hit hard, he lacked competitiveness and immediately complained of stomach and rib pain.
He also described him as an arrogant coward.
Despite the fact that he was not a naturalized American citizen, he was able to register to vote.
In 2009, he was charged with domestic aggravated assault and battery charges for beating his girlfriend.
The FBIfeared in 2011 that Tamerlan could become a 'highly feared extremist leader' due to spending several months in his native Chechnya with several anonymous groups.
He and his brother Dzhokhar posted videos on YouTube of terrorists and radical Islamic extremists.
Four months before the bombings, he disrupted a Martin Luther King Jr. Day sermon at a mosque in Cambridge over objections about comparing the prophet Muhammad to the aforementioned civil rights leader.
He and his brother terrorized Boston for several days.
Coincidentally, his heinous acts happened on the same week in April as other infamous violent crimes in American history such as the Waco siege, Oklahoma City bombing, Columbine High School massacre, and Virginia Tech massacre.

Why he might not be annoying:

His parents fled Chechnya to the United States to escape persecution and turmoil.
Prior to his interest in boxing, he studied accounting and hoped to become an engineer.
He wanted to compete in The Olympic Games.
In 2009 and 2010, he was the New England Golden Gloves heavyweight champion, winning the Rocky Marciano Trophy.
