Why he might be annoying:

His middle name was LaTreal.
His mother nicknamed him 'Monk' because of his monkey-like ability to climb trees as a child.
He always seemed to be injured.
He was often criticized for worsening his injuries by playing hurt.
He under threw a pass during Super Bowl XXXIV with seconds left on the clock that helped contribute to the Titans losing the game. Receiver Kevin Dyson felt short by a few inches from the goal line.

He's the only player in NCAA history to gain over 16,000 yards in his college football career.
He received death threats from white supremacists for being married to a white woman.
He set a Houston Oilers franchise record for fewest interceptions in a single season in his first full season as a starter.(1997)
He also set a franchise record by being the youngest quarterback to reach the 3,000-yard passing mark.
On October 26, 2003, his cousin was found hanging dead from a tree. The death was declared a suicide, but many speculate that he was lynched.
