    (August 25, 1966- )
    Birth name was Norman Rogers
    DJ for Public Enemy (1986-98)
Recorded the solo albums ‘Terminator X & the Valley of the Jeep Beets’ (1991) and ‘Super Bad’ (1994)
He originally called himself DJ Mellow D.
He disliked the new name that Chuck D gave him. (In Chuck’s defense, ‘DJ Mellow D to the Edge of Panic’ doesn’t really work as a song title.)
After leaving Public Enemy, he retired from the music biz and ran an ostrich farm.
AllMusic wrote, ‘He has a well-deserved reputation for being one of hip-hop's most creative turntable manipulators.’
He broke both legs in a motorcycle accident after the release of his second solo album.
Compared with Flavor Flav’s attempts to stay in the spotlight, ostrich farming looks downright dignified.
