TV Reality Show Contestant
    (April 20, 1986- )
    Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Birth name is Kelsey Lyn Persons
Contestant on Season 13 of The Bachelor.
    Eliminated during Week 6
    Guidance Counselor and blogger
Her nickname was 'the Black Widow.'
She wrote her own IMDB biography.
Many found it inappropriate for her to go on The Bachelor barely a year after her husband died.
She was accused of being a perpetually angry sociopath who used the loss of her husband as a tool to gain sympathy (and a rose) from Bachelor Chris Soules.
She visited Chris behind the other girls' back to deliver a sob story, and then bragged to the camera afterward; 'Isn't my story AMAZING?' and 'I LOVE my story!' (leading viewers to question her sincerity - or sanity, in some cases).
She went so far as to plug herself on the air, saying 'I know this is a show about Chris, but this is my love story too... Hell yes I'm getting a rose tonight! Stay tuned Monday nights at 8, the love story unveiled!"
She gave a patronizing speech to the other (clearly pissed) girls about 'making every day count,' feigning remorse that one of them was likely going to be sent home in her place.
The plan backfired, as Chris proceeded to call off the ritual 'cocktail party' and go straight to the Rose Ceremony. Clearly freaked out, she staged a panic attack in the Ladies Room, preventing her from being sent home.
She had a creepy face-off with Ashley Laconetti before they were both sent home, with Kelsey glaring vengefully at Ashley, who stared off into space ignoring her on a loft in the middle of the desert.
She wept crocodile tears when Ashley was sent home, saying 'it's a loss' in an haughty tone before learning that she was also going to be sent home.
It remains unclear as to whether or not the panic attack was staged, but the fact that she had been complaining earlier in the same episode about one of the other girls injuring her foot and getting attention from Chris, and wondering out loud why she hadn't thought of that, is a pretty telling clue.
She lists her biggest date fear as diarrhea.
She met her late husband while working at Starbucks.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Florida (May 2009).
She is proof that all people grieve in different ways.
After she was eliminated she traveled to Paris to become a writer.
When she was eliminated, the girls like it was VJ Day; drinking, dancing, and cheering.
Her social media feeds were flooded with hateful messages after she declared she 'loved her story.'
The other girls made the mistake of trying to dog-pile her on the 'Tell-All' Special, enabling her to make herself out as a victim.
She is only one in a handful of Season 13 contestants who have been maligned as certifiably, batsh*t crazy.
