Why he might be annoying
He didn't own a television, and as a result, he wasn't aware of the storylines on most of the shows he acted or guest starred on.
He doesn't stop his wife from putting outfits on their pet dachshunds.
He loves politics, but, refers to it as the 'realm of criminals and perverse folks.'
He raised eyebrows by saying Lucifer had a 'real beef' after being betrayed by his father and brother (he was finding human elements in Lucifer's story to portray the character on 'Supernatural').
Why he might not be annoying
He taught theater-style acting for more than a dozen years.
He views science fiction as a genre which can 'explore taboo subjects in a safe atmosphere.'
He enjoys exploring the personalities and human elements of the villainous characters he plays.
Many remember him as the thug in 'The Big Lebowski' who dunked Lebowski's head in the toilet while asking 'where's the money, Lebowski?'
