Why they might be annoying:

They have a question mark at the end of their name.
They named their record label Multifuckinational Records.
Their song structures are called unconventional by music pundits.
They were considered a group that always seemed to be on the fringe of greatness, but could never get over the hump.
Their album 'Infernal Love' was recorded with the hopes of being cinematic, but received a chilly reception from the fans.
Their remaining albums at A&M Records after the release of 'Infernal Love' were considered a commercial disaster. (It didn't help that the label didn't bother to market their remaining work.)

Why they might not be annoying:

They were started after Andy recruited Fyfe to start a band, having been impressed with his performance at a charity gig.
They worked regular jobs in their early years to help cover the costs of their gigs.
They paid their dues by taking any supporting slots they could at clubs and festivals across Northern Ireland.
Their trademark sound was the use of heavy guitar riffs and innovative drumming techniques.
Their album 'Troublegum' was considered their most commercially successful album.
