    He and Roger Abbott turned down a writing gig on Taxi out of loyalty to Canadian viewers who loved ‘Air Farce.’
    He and Roger Abbott were jointly honored with the Gemini Award for Humanitarians of the Year.
    He said of political correctness: ‘There are so many rules now about what's politically correct and incorrect that there are more opportunities to break the rules.’
    He remained with Royal Canadian Air Farce for its entire forty-plus year run until its end in 2019.
