    He allegedly helped to get LaVar Ball's son and teammates released from Chinese prison after they were arrested on shoplifting charges (which may lend credence to Ball's insistence that President Trump had nothing to do with it).
    Through his foundation he pledged to donate 500,000 testing kits and one million masks to the U.S to help fight COVID-19.
