Why Reaper might be annoying:

Missy Peregrym replaced Nikki Reed as Andi after the first episode.
The cast are mostly unknowns.
The major plot hole is why would the devil rely on slackers?
The CW refused to commit to it and ordered a few episodes at a time.
Sam Oliver was cast as the lead despite still being on the TV series 'Loop.'
Adam Buckman of the New York Post liked it but acknowledged it is ridiculous and far fetched.

Why Reaper might not be annoying:

The sidekick character Sock steals the scene.
Most critics enjoyed it.
Kansas City Star's Aaron Barnhart wrote 'Reaper is remarkably well-paced and hilariously well-written.'
Newark Star-Ledger's Alan Sepinwall counted among 'the best new shows of the season.'
