Why Hoarders might be annoying:

Most of the homes they profile are in unsanitary conditions.
The people they interview are often reluctant to throw away their garbage.
The show will often feature people who throw tantrums at the crews cleaning up their house.
Some viewers think that the people interviewed on the show can't be classified as hoarders, but are more along the lines of lazy.
Some of the people interviewed on the show refuse to throw away perishable food for years at a time.

Why Hoarders might not be annoying:

It has brought exposure to a condition which hasn't been talked about.
Most of the subjects on the show, often reluctantly, help throw away items.
It exposes real-life situations with people who suffer from hoarding.
It was the highest rated debut show in the history of the A & E Network.
