    Known for his album covers for Yes and other progressive rock bands
    Also designed covers for several video games
    Works collected in the books 'Views' (1975) and 'Magnetic Storm' (1984)
    Co-compiler of the 'Album Cover Album' series of books

Why he might be annoying:

    One of his first designs was a spherical 'sea urchin' chair.
    His work appeals to stoners and aging hippies.
    He said, 'I don't really think of myself as a fantasy artist but as a landscape painter.'

Why he might not be annoying:

    He formed his own publishing company, Paper Tiger Books.
    His furniture and architectural designs have been exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
    Yes guitarist Steve Howe noted, 'There is a pretty tight bond between our sound and Roger's art.'
