The Resume

    (June 12, 1950- )
    Born in Rockford, Illinois
Birth name was Brad M. Carlson
    Drummer for Cheap Trick (1973-2010)
Recorded the solo album ‘Greetings from Bunezuela!’ (2016)

Why he might be annoying:

His year of birth is disputed, with 1951 and 1953 given by other sources.
The liner notes of Cheap Trick’s early albums claimed his full first name was ‘Bunezuela’ and that he was a native of Venezuela.
He used to smoke cigarettes while playing, until he gave up tobacco in the mid-1990s.
He was replaced as Cheap Trick’s drummer by Rick Nielsen’s son Daxx (2010).
He sued the other band members over back income and the right to be included in the band’s business decisions (2013).
Although the suit was settled two years later, with Carlos’s business participation rights restored, he noted, ‘Any friendship we had went away when I had to file a federal lawsuit.’

Why he might not be annoying:

    He is left handed.
After he was let go from Cheap Trick, the other band members had enough chutzpah to ask if Daxx could borrow his drum set.
Despite his firing and the subsequent lawsuit, he remained Cheap Trick’s archivist, keeping records of the setlist from every concert.
He reunited with the rest of Cheap Trick when the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2016).
