The Resume

Why Ben and Jerry's might be annoying:

Their first flavor was vanilla (shocker).
One of their flavors is called Cherry Garcia (get it?)
All eight of its original flavors have been retired (although over 300 of their flavors have been sent to the graveyard).
Ben Cohen's original name idea was Josephine's Flying Machine.
Its founders are pretty much partisan activists who happen to sell ice cream.
Their choice to market a 'Schweddy Balls' flavor (reference to the Saturday Night Live skit) got the American Family Association on their case.
It removed the claim that its ice cream comes from 'happy cows' on all packaging after a class action lawsuit accused the company of misleading consumers (January 2020)

Why Ben and Jerry's might not be annoying:

Each waffle cone has a total of 259 little squares.
They come up with great, crazy, creative names for their Ice Cream.
Ben and Jerry took a correspondence course to learn how to make ice cream at the cost of $5 in 1976 - two years later they started their own ice cream business.
Their fudge brownies are insanely underrated.
They created Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough after a fan anonymously suggested it at the original franchise. It is now a fan favorite.
It unveiled Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and 30 Rock-themed flavors.
Bernie Sanders loves them and vice versa (and has his own flavor - Bernie's Yearning).
They defended their decision to do a 'Change the Whirled' ice cream flavor with Colin Kaepernick after the right wing threatened to boycott the company.
