Why he might be annoying:

He was a ruthless political operative.
He created 'The Plumbers,' which was created to stop leaks in the Administration, but most of what the plumbers did were illegal break-ins.
Pierre, an economist on Nixon's staff, wrote about Ehrlichman: 'Ehrlichman was an amateur at what he was supposed to do; domestic advisor.
Rinfret continued: 'He had about as much in the way of credentials as a dummy who has not graduated from kindergarten.
He was sentenced to 18-months imprisonment for his major role in the Watergate Scandal.
He wrote 'Witness to Power,' which portrayed Richard Nixon in a negative light because he was frustrated that he was not pardoned by Nixon.
His mother lived to see his death.

He worked on Nixon's 1960 and 1968 presidential campaigns.
He was a writer, artist, and commentator after his release from prison.
