In addition to percussion and dancing, his credits on albums have included 'vibes' and 'Bezness.'
NME chose him over Andrew Ridgeley and Linda McCartney as the epitome of someone whose contribution to his band's success was negligible.
Asked why he took so many drugs, he replied, 'It's my job.'
He called Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse 'lightweights' for going to rehab.
He filed for bankruptcy twice (2004, 2008).
He used a chunk of his Big Brother winnings to pimp out his car with 20 speakers, 15 TV screens and two DVD players. (Which may have something to do with that second bankruptcy.)

Why he might not be annoying:

He inspired the Happy Mondays' second single, 'Freaky Dancing.'
Shaun Ryder must have thought he contributed something, since he was the only member of Happy Mondays that Ryder brought along to Black Grape.
He beat out journalist James Whitaker on the show 'Don't Call Me Stupid.'
He said, 'I am an eternal survivor. I'm an optimist. I always believe that there must be something round the corner.'
