    Acted in feature films ‘Intolerance’ (1916), ‘All Night’ (1918), ‘Broadway After Dark’ (1924), ‘Ben Hur’ (1925), ‘Tell It to the Marines’ (1926), ‘Four Walls’ (1928), ‘Svengali’ (1931) and ‘The Conspirators’ (1944)
    Appeared on episodes of ‘Chico and the Man’ (1975)

Why she might be annoying:

    She frequently played kitschy, over-the-top femme fatales.
    She got her break in films because her father knew D.W. Griffith.
    She likewise helped her brother get started as a director.
    She was married three times.
    Her last film was the poorly received ‘Won Ton Ton, The Dog Who Saved Hollywood’ (1976).

    Her overprotective mother forbade her to date costar Rudolph Valentino.
