    Three-time All-Star (1959-60) (Note: MLB held two All-Star Games in both 1959 and 1960; Neal was named to the NL All-Star team for the second game in 1959 and both games in 1960)

Why he might be annoying:

    The Boston Red Sox tried to lure him from the Dodgers through a deal in the 1954-55 offseason, but nothing materialized.
    He never recorded a base hit in an All-Star Game.
    He played poorly in Game 3 of the 1956 World Series against the New York Yankees as he committed an error without recording a base hit.
    He was with the Mets team as they lost 120 games in its first season.
    His career in the majors ended in a sour note with a struggling season in Cincinnati.
