Why he might be annoying:

Critics claim his buildings do not fit in with their surroundings.
He has been accused of repeating himself, with one critic saying, 'Same Gehry, different city.'
The curved surfaces on the Walt Disney Concert Hall acted like parabolic mirrors, focussing sunlight to create 140 degree hot spots on the sidewalk.
MIT sued him, claiming 'deficient design services' had caused numerous leaks in the Stata Center academic building (2007).

Why he might not be annoying:

His firm was a pioneer in using computer-aided design in architecture.
His Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao was hailed as 'the greatest building of our time' by Philip Johnson.
He parodied himself in The Simpsons, hinting that his designs are inspired by a crumpled ball of paper.
