Why he might be annoying:

He was performing in casinos in the Bahamas at age 15.
He sang with a band called Kinky Fox.
Initial reports of his death claimed that he had fallen and hit his head in the bathroom while on a Tom Joyner Foundation sponsored 'Fantastic Voyage' Cruise.
Subsequent reports indicated that he had never joined the cruise and that his body had been found on the beach near Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Why he might not be annoying:

He did the lead vocals on 'Just Got Paid' in a single take.
'Just Got Paid' hit #1 on the Billboard R&B chart and Top Ten on the pop chart.
'Just Got Paid' was one of the first New Jack Swing songs to become a hit.
'Just Got Paid' was a classic 80s party anthem.
