The Resume

    (October 17, 1979- )
    Born in Espoo, Finland
21 Formula One Grand Prix wins
    Formula One World Champion (2007)

Why he might be annoying:

He had been in only 23 races before being signed by a Formula One team (2001), prompting some critics (including FIA President Max Mosley) to express concern about letting such an inexperienced driver compete at the F1 level.
He left Formula One for two years to compete in the World Rally Championship (2011-12), where he never finished better than fifth.
He was thrown out of a London lap dancing club after allegedly dropping trou and exposing himself to the dancers (2005).
He dislikes interacting with the media and usually gives terse, monosyllabic responses at press conferences.
Asked at the 2006 Brazilian Grand Prix why he had missed a pre-race ceremony in which Pele gave a lifetime achievement award to Michael Schumacher, he replied, 'I was taking a shit.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He has a distinctive voice as the result of a childhood bicycling accident in which his throat hit the handlebars, damaging his vocal cords.
He won the Enduro Sprint snowmobile race (2007).
He and two friends entered a powerboat race in the Finnish harbor of Hanko while wearing gorilla suits; although they failed to make the podium, they were named best-dressed crew (2007).
He is the only Formula One driver to win in the V10, V8, and V6 engine eras.
He has the longest span of Grand Prix victories, having won the Malaysian Grand Prix in 2003 and the United States Grand Prix in 2018.
