Why he might be annoying:

    He's the son of Dominican dictator Rafael Trujillo and mistress Maria Martinez.
    When his father was assassinated, he took over his harsh regime until exiled to Spain in 1962.
    With his heiress-mistress behind the wheel, his car crashed, killing her instantly and causing him extensive injuries (December 17, 1969).
    He was depressed and sent to an asylum for randomly ordering murders.
    He was a womanizer, whose conquests included Joan Collins, Zsa Zsa Gabor, and Kim Novak.
    He sired a total of eight children from two wives.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was legitimated when his parents eventually married.
    There's speculation his emotional problems came from pressure put on him by his father.
    He received electroshock therapy but his erratic behavior continued (1958).
    He remained friendly with his ex-brother-in-law, fellow man-whore Porfirio Rubirosa.
    He lavished his ladies with extravagant jewels, furs, and cars.
    Starlets in Los Angeles drove around with bumper stickers stating: 'THIS CAR WAS NOT A GIFT FROM RAMFIS TRUJILLO.'
