Why Tubac, Arizona might be annoying:

It's pronounced the same way as the late rapper's first name.
It suffered a massive depopulation during the O'odham Uprising in the 18th century.
It was the primary ground of a turf war between both the Apaches and Sonoran Mexicans, which caused the latter to abandon the community altogether.
It was the site of a four day siege between the community's male residents, the Confederate militia and the Apache warriors (1861).
The Confederates won, and later abandoned the community, sending it into decay.
The modern community isn't actually considered a town, but a census-designated place.
Due to its location, it is extremely hot and dry here year round.

Why Tubac, Arizona might not be annoying:

It is located along the Santa Cruz River.
It found a second life in the 19th century, when it experienced a repopulation as a result of mining, farming and ranching activity in the region.
It was the hub center of an art colony for three decades, many of which rebuilt and restored the community's historic buildings.
It is home to the Tubac Festival of the Arts.
Despite revatilizing itself as one of the artiest communities in the United States, it is also considered a tourist destination.
It preserved the ruins of some of the community's noteworthy structures, most notably the remains of the old Spanish presidio, which is located in nearby Tubac Presidio State Historic Park.
It is among one of the last communities you see on the way to Mexico.
