    Halfback for the Edmonton Eskimos (1953) and the Baltimore Colts (1956)

    CFL Most Outstanding Player (1953)
    Eddie James Memorial Trophy winner (1953)

Why he might be annoying:

    He was a college superstar who couldn't cut it in the professional ranks.
    He failed to reach a contract agreement with the Colts, which factored in his decision to go to the Canadian Rugby Union (later renamed the CFL).
    He did not play football during the 1954 and 1955 seasons.
    His football career ended due to a knee injury.
    He was one of the first 'draft busts,' but is never mentioned in the conversation.

    He was the first Oklahoma Sooner to win the Heisman Trophy.
    He was a member of the Oklahoma football team that won the National championship (1950).
