    Known for parodying public figures and politicians
    Included impersonations of Herb Gray, Deborah Grey, and Boris Yeltsin
    Original characters included Jock McBile, Professor Luellen Aphazard, and Randy Lubitch

    He didn't enter comedy until he was 40 years old.
    He resembled Dr. Harry Weston from Empty Nest.
    When he was asked why he became a writer, he answered: ‘I figured if I was going to get stabbed in the back, I'd prefer it to be with a pen.’

    He was a newspaper reporter, magazine editor, teacher, and pub owner prior to becoming a comedy writer.

    He and his comedy partner, Martin Bronstein, co-founded the comedy troupe The Jest Society, in 1970, which eventually evolved into the Royal Canadian Air Farce.
    He was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award in 2000.
    Morgan wrote the pilot for the popular Canadian sitcom King of Kensington with Al Waxman..
