Drafted 11th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft
Forward for the Boston Bruins (1971-72), California Golden Seals (1972-74), Chicago Black Hawks (1974-78), Atlanta Flames (1978-80), Vancouver Canucks (1980-83) and the Detroit Red Wings (1983-85)

Why he might be annoying:

He is the only player in NHL history to have his name on the Stanley Cup before even playing in a game (1970).
He spent the majority of his career on bad teams.
His tenure with the Canucks ended as a result of the team thinking he was washed up.
He was injury prone throughout the course of his career.
He was nicknamed 'Ivan the Terrible' during his career.

He and his family emigrated to Canada, to escape the unrest in Yugoslavia when he was two years old.
He was the first European born player to be drafted by an NHL team.
He scored the first NHL goal in Kansas City's Kemper Arena (1974).
He was the leading scorer of the Canucks team that made their first appearance in the Stanley Cup Finals (1982).
He was the second last player to wear #19 for the Red Wings, prior to Steve Yzerman.
