    (1883- )
Root for the San Francisco Giants
Attend home games at (Pac Bell) SBC Park (April 11, 2000- )
    Capacity: 41,503
Pacific Bell spent $50 million for 24 years for the naming rights
SBC Communications acquired Pacific Bell and renamed the stadium to SBC Park

Why they might be annoying:

They had to endure severe wind conditions at Candlestick Park for 40 years.
Land developers specifically scheduled only early afternoon viewings of the land (before the winds would whip up) before the Giants purchased it for Candlestick Park.
The team moved from New York's Polo Grounds when they were talked into moving to the west coast by Walter O'Malley of the Dodgers, abandoning the New York national league following.
The team threaten to move from San Francisco, abandoning the San Francisco fans in the early 90's if they didn't get a new stadium. A new stadium was purchased by a San Francisco group (1993).
At old Candlestick Park, they had to endure bitter cold and fog to watch a night game.
Games have sometimes been delayed due to earthquakes.
SBC Park was the first privately financed park in almost forty years, costing the fans nothing.
Many of them are vegans, and thus demanded that Giants management switch the ball park menu to all-vegan.
Since moving to San Francisco, the Giants can't seem to win a World Series.
They prefer to overlook the Barry Bond steroid controversy.

Why they might not be annoying:

They root for some of the greatest home run hitters, Willie McCovey, Willie Mays and Barry Bonds.
SBC Park is everything Candlestick wasn't.
Willie May's statue greets them entering the park.
Young fans can play at the Coca Cola Fan Lot during games.
When a HR is hit, bubbles explode in an 90 foot wooden coke bottle.
They get to enjoy the beautiful scenery of San Francisco Bay at their ball games.
They can view the world's largest baseball glove at SBC park.
