Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He was divorced once and married twice.
He bounced back and forth between the Maple Leafs and the minor leagues during the entirety of his tenure with the team.
His Stanley Cup winning goal was actually credited to Pete Stemkowski, due to the fact it actually bounced off his stick (1967).
Pete agreed to give him credit with scoring the Stanley Cup clincher, due to the fact he would get a substantial pay raise from the Leafs if he led the playoffs in scoring.
In return for taking the credit, he gave Pete unlimited access to his backyard swimming pool he paid for with the bonus money he received.
He was so angry at the Leafs front office, after being traded to Chicago that he gave his Stanley Cup ring away to his father-in-law.
He spent the final couple seasons of his career on a horrible Seals/Barons team.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a member of five championship teams during the 1960's in the NHL and AHL combined.
He was a member of the Leafs team that won the franchise's last two Stanley Cup championships (to date).
He landed a full-time role when he got traded to the Black Hawks.
He was a member of the Hawks teams that reached the Stanley Cup Finals two times in a three year window (1971, 1973).
He recorded a career-high 92 points as a member of the Hawks (1972-73).
He was an avid fan of horse racing and owned numerous thoroughbred horses.
His 1967 Stanley Cup ring, which he gave to his ex-father in law was found 40 years later in the Gulf of Mexico, and later returned to him by a beachcomber who came across it (2007).
