    He was fired from Poco before their first album was released.
    He threatened to quit the Eagles several times before actually going through with it.
    He was replaced in both Poco and the Eagles by Timothy B. Schmit.
    He has an incredibly high-pitched singing voice.
    He sported a feminine hairstyle in the 70's.
    Two of his solo albums were called 'Randy Meisner.'

    He left the Eagles after 'Hotel California' was released to spend more time with his family.
    Glenn Frey would force him to sing in concert when he was too ill to.
