Was stabbed to death at the age of 11 after she resisted an attempted rape

Why she might be annoying:

Some feminists object to her story saying it reinforces the Catholic church’s sexist belief that it is ‘better to be dead than raped.’
Half way through her surgery she woke up from her surgery and insisted that the doctors let her die, which some Catholics may object to.
She was unable to outrun her attacker, twenty year old Alessandro Serenelli.

Why she might not be annoying:

Before she died, she stated that she forgave Serenelli.
Her killer, was released from prison, received forgiveness from her mother, and became a laybrother.
She is a great example of forgiving those who harm us.
Her father died when she was nine.
