Why he might be annoying:

    He 'earned' a $550 million bonus (1986) mainly because he was in charge of distributing the $700 million bonus pool for his office.
    After being indicted on 98 counts, he launched a PR campaign that included hanging out a lot with Michael Jackson.
    He paid $47 million in fees for violating the SEC order banning him from the securities industry (1998).

Why he might not be annoying:

    He only pled guilty to the six charges after Rudy Giuliani threatened to indict his brother Lowell for racketeering.
    Forbes and the Guardian both called him a 'scapegoat' for the insider trading scandal.
    He funded several medical charities, including the Milken Family Foundation, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and FasterCures.
