He's been considered the best Met prospect for many years.
Before the injury problems, he was to be the Mets 'savior' in 2003.
He's a prototypical leadoff hitter.
He's one of the fastest players in baseball.
He agreed to move to second base in 2004 to accommodate Kaz Matsui.
He gets along very well with Matsui even though they speak different languages.
He was the minor league player of the year in 2002.
