The Resume

    Software engineer
    Former Google employee (2013-17)
Authored a controversial 10-page internal memo, titled 'Google's Ideological Echo Chamber' (July, 2017)
Memo notably criticized Google's politically correct culture and argued that biological differences explained the absence of women in technological fields
Memo leaked on the sites Motherboard and Gizmodo (August 5, 2017), quickly going viral
Fired by Google (August 7, 2017)
Attained strong support from Right-wing conservative groups, primarily the Alt-Right Movement
    Twitter handle is: @fired4truth

Why he might be annoying:

He became an overnight martyr for the Alt-Right.
His viral celebrity resulted in his receiving a job offer from Julian Assange.
He comes off as awkward and mild-mannered during interviews.
He was accused of perpetuating 'harmful gender stereotypes' by attributing the tech industry's gender gap to biological differences between men and women, rather than to institutional biases.
He argued that Google should halt its diversity campaigns in favor of 'ideological diversity,' accusing them of legally questionable discriminative practices of their own.
His firing is one of the events leading to Great Google Exodus of 2017, as well as the hashtag #Exodus2017.
He frequently sports a satirical 'Goolag' T-shirt during appearances (including for his Twitter profile's official photo).

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a Chess champion and was awarded the title of FIDE Master.
He likes to draw charcoal sketches in his free time.
He was a research assistant at both Princeton and Harvard.
He was a research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
His memo was widely misinterpreted to mean that he was calling females genetically inferior as a whole (he wasn't).
Prior to his firing, he didn't even have a Twitter account.
He was fired for politely expressing dissent from the groupthink of his organization's corporate culture.
He resolved to pen the memo on a 12-hour flight to China, after attending a 'diversity program' which he claimed left him feeling uncomfortable and 'isolated.'
