    In his only pitching appearance during Game 5 of the 2002 World Series, he allowed 2 runs in 1 2/3 innings.
    He struggled in his two appearances of the 2004 American League Divisional Series.
    He is a Miami Heat fan.
    In fact, he would sport a Shaquille O'Neal jersey during interviews.

    He majored in kinesiology while attending Lincoln Memorial University.
    He is known to have a 'rubber arm,' meaning he has excellent endurance and does not need to ice his arm after pitching.
    In 2005, he led the American League with 91.2 innings of relief pitching, and ranked second with 98 strikeouts and 32 holds.
    He throws a hard, sinking fastball that clocks anywhere between 92-95 mph, and a slurve.
    He was the only Angels player to play for Team USA during the 2006 World Baseball Classic.
