    He pulled his hamstring during the Bengals training camp, which played a role in the team’s decision to release him after one preseason game.
    He was injury prone during his tenure with the Cowboys.
    His playing career ended as a result of a helmet-to-helmet hit by an opposing player.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He played both wide receiver and defensive back in high school, before switching to the wideout position full time.
    He recorded 331 receiving yards playing both the wide receiver and kick return positions, setting a new Cowboys franchise record in the process (1999).
    He found his footing as a full-time player when he signed with the Eskimos.
    He recorded 132 receiving yards in the 91st Grey Cup, earning MVP honors (2003).
    He narrowly avoided paralysis after sustaining a spinal cord injury after taking the brunt of the helmet-to-helmet hit.
    He remained in football when he pursued a coaching career after he was told he was unable to play.
