Baseball Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

    His middle name is Forrest.
His trademark was wearing his plastic helmet forwards under his catching mask, rather then wearing it backwards.
He was a backup catcher for his entire playing career.
He initially retired after the 2009 season, before changing his mind and signing with the Astros that off-season.
He was suspended one game by Major League Baseball after making comments about using retaliation toward the Yankee hitters (September 1, 2020).

Why he might not be annoying:

He is the nephew of former major league player Ron Cash.
He earned a World Series ring as a member of the Red Sox (2007).
He was one of the few catchers, other then Doug Mirabelli who was comfortable catching Tim Wakefield's knuckleball pitch.
He is the first person in the history of the Rays franchise to play and later manage the franchise.
He proved to be a capable successor to Joe Maddon as the Rays skipper, keeping the team competitive, despite a limited budget.
