The Resume

Why Survivor 26: Caramoan might be annoying:

It was Fans vs. Favorites II.
None of the Favorites were from the One World season.
There were no past winners, either.
Like the Exile Island season, the first four voted out were women (although Shamar’s med-evac interrupted that elimination streak at three).
Francesca got voted out first, AGAIN!
Once again, players had to put up with Phillip’s dominating personality.
    Three words: Stealth R Us.
When Brandon finally became frustrated with Phillip, the Young Hantz took it out on the whole tribe, by destroying their food supply while daring Phillip to vote him out.
At the next immunity challenge, the Favorites forfeited, and immediately thereafter, they held an impromptu tribal council on site, where Brandon was eliminated by a roll-call vote (8-1).
Brenda received little air time this season; after she got her first on-screen confessional in Episode One, the next eight episodes did not give her any!
Malcolm pulled a Boston Rob, by having the tribe named Enil Edam (his mom Madeline’s name spelled backwards).
But Andrea thought that Enil Edam meant ‘new beginning.’
Phillip became the first player ever to voluntarily sit out an individual challenge without any incentive to do so; it was an Immunity challenge, and he got voted out at the next Tribal Council.
When Erik fell ill in the final episode, it marked the latest in the game that anyone had ever been medically evacuated.
There was more vote-splitting than ever before; two Tribals initially ended in a three-way tie.
The players who were eliminated before the jury phase were not included on the reunion show stage (probably because Brandon was banned from the reunion and his absence would have stuck out like a sore thumb).
Brenda couldn’t make it to the reunion show in person, due to being nine months pregnant and past due.

Why Survivor 26: Caramoan might not be annoying:

They gave ten past players, who all lost their first time out, another shot at a million dollars.
In fact, according to Jeff, all the returnees were chosen because of what caused them to lose before, rather than what made them strong.
They finally got a Fan from the first Fans vs. Favorites to come back.
Erik went from being a Fan his first season to being a Favorite this season.
Corrine, after missing out on Heroes vs. Villains due to her job, was free to participate this time.
Hantz Junior’s meltdown could go down as the most epic collapse in ‘Survivor’ history (and yet it was not talked about at the reunion!).
The merged tribe flag (painted by Erik) featured caricatures of its members!
When Erik won Immunity, he wisely kept it this time.
Cochran was an unexpected physical threat this time; he won four individual challenges, three of which were for immunity, and scored the second ever ‘Survivor’ perfect game (no votes against throughout).
Unlike the last Fans vs. Favorites season, a Fan made it to the Final Three this time.
