Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He was predominantly used on the fourth lines, primarily cause he brought no value to a team, other then to fight.
He bounced around between the NHL and the minors, before landing a permanent role with the Senators.
His style of play was considered reckless by hockey pundits.
He earned a 13 game suspension, after he attacked an on-ice official coming out of the penalty box (April 2, 2002).
His second stint with the Lightning ended after he infuriated John Tortorella by giving a throat-slash gesture to an opposing player.
This led to Tortorella making him a healthy scratch for the remainder of the 2007-08 season as a result.
Due to his lack of hockey skill, he was considered a one-dimensional player by NHL executives.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was born in New York State, but was primarily raised in Quebec.
He is bilingual, speaking both English and Canadian French.
He was a member of the Lightning team that won the franchise's first Stanley Cup title (2004).
He used his day with the Stanley Cup to propose to his girlfriend.
As an added bonus, he got Guy Lafleur to pilot the helicopter he was using to do his proposal on.
He was popular with his teammates, despite the fact he seldom got playing time.
