Oddity

The Resume

    Born in Nigeria
    Known as The Osundairo Brothers
    Bodybuilders, actors
Abimbola 'Bola' (also known as Abel) Osundairo
    Olabinjo 'Ola' Osundairo
    Appeared as extras on Empire
Key players in the Jussie Smollett hate crime hoax (2019)

Why they might be annoying:

Ola was charged with attempted murder in a 2011 stabbing (he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years of probation).
They filed for bankruptcy in 2016 after starting a failed party and decoration business.
They were allegedly paid $3,500 to stage a hate crime against actor Jussie Smollett, which involved tying a noose around his neck, pouring bleach on him, and (pretending to) beat the crap out of him.
They cooperated with Smollett out of hopes that he would help their burgeoning acting career (Abel already worked for Smollett as a personal trainer).
They were caught on-camera purchasing rope, ski masks, red hats, and gloves which were used during the attack.
Immediately after staging the hoax, they left the country for Nigeria, only to be promptly arrested upon their return after being identified as persons of interest.
They promptly turned on Smollett under pressure and implicated him in the hoax.
Jussie alleged that he had a sexual relationship with Abel Osundairo, which included trips to gay bathhouses.
Smollett also alleged that Abel would regularly supply him with ecstasy, which they would occasionally smoke together while driving around the Chicago-area.
Smollett's version of events strongly implied that Ola was motivated to attack him out of homophobia over his relationship with Abel. (The brothers disputed this.)

Why they might not be annoying:

They are two of five siblings.
They played college football at Quincy University.
They have marched in Gay Pride parades.
Abel/Bola is an aspiring boxer who has had moderate success in the arena.
Abel/Bola did succeed in getting a role in a direct-to-video release called 'Friends Family & Lovers.'
They stood their ground as Smollett branded them as 'liars' during his trial.
They were the key witnesses in the prosecution's case against Smollett, who would eventually be convicted.
If this were a Disney movie, they would make for great comic henchmen.
They have made for hilarious memes and parodies (see The Daily Show with Trevor Noah).
