First base coach for the Pittsburgh Pirates (2017-19), Philadelphia Phillies (2020) and the Detroit Tigers (2021).

Why he might be annoying:

What the hell kind of a name is Kimera.
His playing career saw him play across various different leagues.
He returned to baseball in a coaching position, solely for health insurance benefits.
He began his major league career on some of the worst Tigers teams fielded in the mid and late 1990's.
He was divorced, but engaged to be remarried at the time of his death.

Why he might not be annoying:

He made the last at-bat appearance at the old Tiger Stadium.
He was considered a player's coach by baseball pundits.
He served on the coaching staffs of Clint Hurdle, Joe Girardi and A. J. Hinch.
He worked in various capacities for the Pirates, serving primarily as the team's minor league outfield and base running coordinator, before making the switch into coaching.
He passed away in his hometown of Omaha, while visiting his father over the Christmas holidays.
