Why she might be annoying:

For a brief time, even Wikipedia was conflicted on whether her year of birth was 1974 or 1977.
She ticks off all the boxes required for a liberal ‘diversity hire.’
Ten thousand million jobs created in her boss’s term? At the time of that press release (September 2, 2022), Biden was less than eight months in!
She was previously a political analyst at NBC News and MSNBC.

Why she might not be annoying:

Having moved to Queens Village in Queens at age five, she was the primary caregiver for her two younger siblings (by eight and ten years).
She was born to a cab driver and health-care worker.
As a witness to her keynote speech at the 1992 Democratic National Convention, she lists Barbara Jordan – also a lesbian – as a major inspiration.
She can definitely claim to be the second consecutive Secretary older than her predecessor.
