Why That's My Bush! might be annoying:

Parker and Stone thought Gore would win and started developing the series as 'Everybody Loves Al.'
Production was delayed during the Florida vote recount imbroglio.
The title sounds like it belongs to a 'Girls Gone Wild' type soft-porn video.
Comedy Central nixed Parker and Stone's plan to portray Jenna and Barbara Bush as lesbian lovers.
Each episode ended with George saying, 'One of these days Laura, I'm gonna punch you in the face.'
The series was cancelled after eight episodes over a combination of middling ratings and high production costs.

Why That's My Bush! might not be annoying:

Parker and Stone's goal was less political satire than a spoof of sitcom banality.
Tom Shales of the Washington Post called it 'tasteless, appalling and funny as hell.'
The Onion AV Club commented, 'While audiences waited for Parker and Stone to tear into the Bush administration, they instead attacked the hoary conventions of 1970s and 1980s sitcoms, which proved a surprisingly apt target for satire and pop-culture riffing.'
A surprisingly large number of voters at the 'Jump the Shark' website blame 9/11 for the show's demise. (Apparently, Comedy Central knew it was coming four months in advance.)
